The 2002-2003 season highlights:

• " Red Deer Royals Week"(April 27-May 4, 2003) proclaimed by the Mayor of Red Deer

• travelling to Italy for the WAMSB World Championships.where we achieved a Gold in our season's best performance of our field show" The Music of Aaron Copland"

• we delighted thousands of people in 30 performances throughout the year

• another year of parades with no rain!

TOUR

We travelled to Italy this year! We were hosted by a small village called Lonate Ceppino.Many of us stayed in homes and some of us stayed in a school gym. We competed in Monza which is near Milan.

We were thrilled to be chosen to perform our field show at the opening ceremonies for the World Championships. (see the Media coverage below)

We competed in parade at the Formula 1 Race Track which also hosts the Italian Grand Prix.

Our field show was performed at the Brianteo Soccer Stadium, where we earned Gold.
